Michelle's Texas Glamping Weekend with Mary Beth Events

Lacy threw his wife Michelle a fabulous 50th birthday party at their ranch house in Hempstead, Texas. He called Mary Beth Events to design the “glamping” party Michelle wanted. Friday afternoon Michelle’s best friends arrived to a hayride and bunking assignments, sleepover style. Little welcome boxes filled with moose munch, survival supplies (think hangover cures), and monogramed pajamas for each of the glampers. One of the highlights of this party was the scavenger hunt, which was competitive and so.much.fun. Grown women were running all over Wee Ski ranch collecting points for their team by completing a scavenger hunt checklist. Each team received a bucket which had mini pouches and feather headbands. Teams had to create a team tattoo and draw it on all their team members, video tape a team cheer. Finally they received extra points for tequila shots. The second day the spouses arrived and were treated to seated dinner in the same tent reinvented as a glamping mess hall complete with chandlers and a Texas steer. The custom bar and lounge furniture and unique theme made this party unforgettable.
