Austin Private Estate Wedding
We've waited a since last April to share this Orange and Pink Private Estate Wedding with you! It was accepted as a feature in Southern Weddings Magazine V6 and also ran this week on their SW blog. National magazines do not want any content shared publicly until their publication is on stands and their blog post is online. Soooo... at long last... Jamie & Blake! This couple could not have been easier to work with! They just wanted to have a fun wedding day and share their new home with their family and friends. Mary Beth Events really pulled together an amazing party (in four months) with fun spring orange, pink and white. The family and close friends enjoyed a ceremony two blocks away from their home at the chapel at Terrytown Methodist. People walked over to the house and had their cars valet parked, hence the neighbor's kids who made a "free parking" sign down the street (great shot Jamelle). There were a white truffle mac n' cheese station and guests sipped on cucumber jalepeño margaritas, or sparkling wine in appropriate pink Pop bottles. Mary Beth created a dessert station called "Ellie Mae's Sweet Shop" named after the couple's maltipoo. The desert station was complete with macaroons, cakes, Texas pie pops, and butter cookies. Jamie and Blake both worked at Facebook when they met and there were lots of hilarious jokes during the ceremony about how Blake accepted Jamie's friend request in 2.2 seconds and all their status's were followed by the Facebook nation. An awesome live band brought the party into the "Boom Boom Room," a secret tent Mary Beth had built in their yard. No one knew they were dancing on a 13 foot platform! There was a pizza truck at the end of the night and in true Austin, TX style the couple left in a pedi cab with a pizza in their lap. Cheers to Jamie & Blake.
